Who and what's behind the idea...
With the establishment of their new enterprise, the founders Heinz-E. Gauglitz and Johannes Appel, both in the Heidelberg transport business for decades, will offer innovative tours that include visits to famous as well as lesser known cultural destinations and events. They will focus on small groups of all ages with common interests, who are open to cultural "adventures", excursions, sightseeing, visits to museums, churches, historical monuments, leisure parks, zoos, archeological walking tours and guided tours, concerts, restaurant visits, wine tastings, exhibitions and city tours...
The name Video-Kultours was chosen because we offer video recordings of the trips in order to create a lasting memory for you - but only upon request. This, however, should not necessarily be the main focus. We offer "Kultouren" also for children aged 5 - 12 (see, for example, the program reference for the Maulbronn monastery). We also give destinations suitable for people in wheelchairs or who have restricted mobility.
We will accompany you to the most excentric museums such as the thimble musum, the good luck pig and the doll museum, but also to official historical monuments such as the now abandoned salt mine König Wilhelm II in Bad Friedrichshall, the Eberstadt stalactite cave with its informative geological trail. We will take you to the Mainhardt Church Clock Museum or to wine tastings in the Palatine, Kraichgau or Rheinhessen areas -- We will bring your children to the planetarium in Mannheim, walk with them on the forest ghost trail in the Palatine or visit the archeological wildlife garden in Erbach-Eulbach, visit the Senckenberg natural history museum in Frankfurt am Main with its prehistoric tiny horse from the Messel pit or simply: a surprise tour! Video-cultours or architectours or sculptours - our tours cover a broad range of interests (including the surprise tours!)
Our buses can transport up to 8 people and are available for invitations of friends and employees, family, relatives, colleagues and neighbours, associations and clubs for celebrating jubilees, church holidays or birthdays. There is a tour for everyone. We are also able to offer the tours and excursions in the English and Italian language, with certain restrictions also in French and Spanish. We give you a short description of the most important tours while you determine the length and highlights of the tour which you would like to experience. An unbelievably diverse and interesting range of tours awaits you...
Of course, we will also be glad to just drive you from A to B with our busses. For smaller groups of up to 4 persons our limousine is available.
