A rewarding excursion destination − also for children and adolescents − is the English Garden with Roman original discoveries from the Limes castels Eulbach and Würzberg. Here, Roman history has come alive.
In the park, reconstructions can be seen of two former Roman castel gates, votive stones, altars and tombstones in the park. In the midst of marvellous old trees we find monuments, artificial ponds and the ruin Eberhardsburg. A special attraction are the European bisons bred successfully since 1952. But there are also other interesting animals such as red deer. A great trip − also for children who love to romp about.
